Ancoats Ales - Bengal IPA

Our Bengal IPA is a hoppy traditional interpretation of a classic.

With lightly caramelised malts providing the body, hints of grapefruit and floral aromas bring to the drink a clean, fresh yet bitter finish.

The label depicts the notorious Bengal Street.  Once the home to the Bengal Tigers, a feared gang of 'scuttlers' who fought with brass-tipped clogs and belt buckles, the street has now been transformed.  The label shows Victoria Square, the very first municipal housing built in Manchester in 1894.
